.: PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION :. vocals . BECKI CZYZ (Salisbury, MD) bass, vocals . BRIANNA CZYZ (Salisbury, MD) guitar . BRYAN CZYZ (Federalsburg, MD) THE BAND + BLOOD ROCK Twenty-three year old, Becki Czyz, has been singing since she could speak. Her karaoke machine became her best friend at quite a young age and she would spend hours on end each day practicing in the living room. Becki jammed with her dad at home and finally got up the courage to sing karaoke at a local bar. With that taste of performing now deep within her, she had an undeniable urge to continue entertaining. With her unique sound, Becki controls the stage from the start of every show, captivating those in attendance. Startling stage presence, combined with hypnotizing vocal abilities, highlight every powerful performance. At eighteen years old, Brianna has been playing bass for four years. Witnessing her dad, Bryan, and sister, Becki, constantly playing music, she wanted to be a part of it, and bass was the obvious choice. Her dad taught her the basic notes and she educated herself from there, developing quite a unique style. With the help of her vintage Sunn amp, Brianna rocks her Aria bass with attitude. Fully armed with an arsenal of tight grooves, compelling harmonies, and stunning backing vocals, she is most definitely on a mission to rock. Becki and Brianna’s dad, Bryan is the driving force behind Mind Control. He has played guitar since he was a child and his daughters developed his same passion for music. Bryan plays a handmade G.L. Jacobs guitar, ran through a vintage JCM 800 Marshall Amp, filling the stage with presence and massive tone. Mesmerizing riffs combined with hooks that kill, bleed through his cabinet. In 2002, Ryan Peter’s came aboard as the drummer of Mind Control. Filled with the same enthusiasm for music as Becki, Bryan, and Brianna, Ryan was the missing link that MC had been searching for. Ryan releases an endless onslaught of crushing beats and rhythms every time he sits behind his Pearl kit. His aggressive attack on the drums is fueled by the excitement of the crowd. We call it “Blood Rock.” -MC Imagine mixing Gwen Stefani with a bit of Pat Benatar, combined with a 'take-no-prisoners' rockin' band. The sound is intense, energetic and raw - a fusion of rock, punk, throbbing beats and honest lyrics. Make no mistakes about it, Mind Control is the next big thing."
