CAMBRIDGE — Impact Artist Promotions presents Blood Rock Night, headlined by Mind Control, at Southside, at 9 p.m. Saturday.

No need to bring a rubber smock and a barf bag. Its not that kind of blood rock. This 21-and-over thriller is billed as Blood Rock because each of the three original bands is a family affair. More to the point, each is an emerging musical powerhouse in its own right.

Each band’s music can be heard in regular rotation on 95.9 FM (96 ROCK in Salisbury), 106.9 FM (The X in Bishopville) and more. Admission for the entire night is $5 at the door.

Headlining this power trifecta are Federalsburg rockers Mind Control, fronted by Becki (vocals) and Brianna Czyz (bass/vocals). The girls are backed on stage by lead guitarist Bryan Czyz, who is also their father and the driving force of the band; and Mind Control’s drummer du jour.
